About Us

Horizon Sign Language Training Centre (HSLTC) is an indigenous Training Centre without any governmental, religious and political affiliation. It is duly registered and committed to offering quality, competitive and affordable Kenyan Sign Language training to two (2) identified groups; one is providers of key basic services to enhance effective service delivery for the marginalized Deaf Kenyans, the second group is interested members of the general public to bridge the communication gap evidenced daily.

The Centre was established in 2016 by Deaf youth with pedigree and experience in the field of Kenyan Sign Language training and who were resolute to address communication barrier hampering the accessibility of basic services for the Deaf and hard of hearing Kenyans.

The Centre operates throughout Kenyan especially in areas where cases of discrimination and inaccessibility of basic services for the marginalized Deaf people have been reported on daily basis.

Our Core Values

The institution shall encourage, monitor and nurture different talents of the Deaf youth.
